I hope everyone is having a lovely Turkey Day in ACNH!!! I sure had an amazing one :') I played for about 2 hours collecting recipes and stuff. It got a little stressful at times because I didn't know how to add the secret ingredients (spoiler: you have to cook the food with the main ingredients 1st and then give the secret ingredient to Franklin afterwards. Took me forever to figure THAT out : P ) but yeah I managed to cook everything + get secret ingredients :') thank you villagers :D

Anyway, I'm glad I was able to have a Thanksgiving-type holiday in ACNH, because IRL 7 of my siblings aren't showing up this year (family issues which I won't go into) so it'll just be me, my parents, and the 3 siblings that still live at home + our dogs which obviously means it won't be as fun,,, soo.,,,,,, turkey day sorta made up for that and made me happy UwU tysm Nintendo 🥧🥧🥧💖💖

is everyone enjoying their Turkey Day?

I haven't played New Horizons yet today. I'm probably going to visit my parents in an hour or so. I hope everybody stays safe out there, especially during a time like this.

You talk to the turky again with the special ingrident in you pocket. Then he will give you the option to use it.

I love the event, everything was super cute and you could see they payed attention to the details. Love the animations everyone was using, the plates slash plates they were holding was def cute.

The furniture is also definitely a plus im like obsessed with how perfectly cute they are ! However it would have been nice to have more than just 2 customizations options, but i am glad at least we can change it to a different color to use it year round.

If i had something to say i expected more in regarding the activities mechanics and dynamics so to say. When Frankly said lets cook and there appeared to be like a loading screen I sincerely thought that we were gonna have like small mini games cooking with Frankling and so, something simple like what you see in phone games, u know? But all said the cute seen although repetitive was super adorable so at least we got that.

Although a small mini interactive cooking game would have been nice and fun for the event and would have been a nice first step to introducing cooking.

Overall super fun and glad you also liked it 💛🦃💛

i had a lot of fun with turkey day! the event only took me about an hour and a half to complete but it was super cute; i loved the decorations, my villagers gathering at the plaza, the turkey day set and getting to see franklin again! the music was also very nice, too, and i’m happy with how the event went c’:

don’t worry, it took me a bit to figure out how to give him the secret ingredients, too :P

I just gotta say, I love the fact you can craft the Turkey Day furniture with normal crafting materials because they are so versatile and I want to keep finding ways to use them year-round! It feels kinda like Nintendo is using these holidays to test out different ways of running events, since each one was handled differently and they seemingly improved every time from the one that came before. I also like that you can just buy the DIYs in the shop after, especially with the load of balloon grinding necessary for all the seasonal DIYs.

I don't miss the old Harvest Festival furniture set, that's for sure.

Happy Turkey Day!! Although it felt too short, I absolutely loved Turkey Day. All the villager animations were so cute! And it was a lot of fun gathering ingredients and visiting everyone’s cooking.
