To Jon_Snow, Pi day is March 14th, or 3/14, in honor of the number pi: 3.14... Common celebrations include every math class of pretty much all grade levels having contests to see how many digits of pi they can rattle off, and - of course - eating pie.

My teacher (many moons ago) told me I had a mental block when it came to math, and if it wasn't mandatory, he'd suggest I didn't take it.

bahaha I would so prefer to learn about fish undies than the quadratic equation and other algebra "goodies"

I'm the same way with English/literature so I know where you're coming from, though. I see people writing these long essays about symbolism and metaphors and I'm all u wot m8?

It was just a simple cherry pie i picked up from a bakery. Nothing special. I walked in this morning and I was all "Happy Pi Day, math rules!!!" and they're just staring at me like I was nuttier than squirrel crap.

xD this happened in assembly. i wanted to go onstage and be apart of saying the digits of pi just so i could simply say "3.14"

as usual, my mom thinks of these fun little things as "dumb holidays" and i didn't do anything yesterday.

however, a friend in another game has their nickname as 3.14 so i got to say "happy pi day!" to him

I made "hand pies" AKA empanadas, I made larger ones with a seafood filling, and smaller ones filled with apples and gouda cheese. MMM.

I made it up myself because I couldn't find any recipe that sounded close enough to what I wanted... So it's cream cheese, egg, bay shrimp(or cut up larger shrimp), imitation crab meat, green onion, onion powder, garlic powder, and a TON of dill. And I just used pre-made pie crusts and cut out my circles. and stuffed them, and put an eggwash on the top before baking.
