It's October 1st and that means it's SPOOKY SEASON again.

• Jack's Poster should be mailed to you on October 1st.
• Pumpkin starts are sold by Leif and the Nooklings.
• Every day, one Spooky item can be bought at Nook's Cranny.
• You can purchase 1 candy a day at Nook's Cranny. So make sure to buy daily to have as much as you can for your villagers, Jack and DIYs.

As a reminder, as of ver1.11, 3 new DIYs have been added, giving us a total of 13 Spooky DIYs to collect.
These can be obtained from crafting villagers and balloons during the whole month of October:

• Spooky arch
• Spooky candy set
• Spooky chair
• Spooky fence
• Spooky lantern
• Spooky lantern set
• Spooky scarecrow
• Spooky standing lamp
• Spooky table
• Spooky tower
• Spooky tree (NEW!)
• Spooky treats basket (NEW!)
• Spooky trick lamp (NEW!)

The following 4 Spooky DIYs can only be obtained during Halloween. If you already have the DIY, then you'll get the actual item instead.

• Spooky table setting (give candy to villagers)
• Spooky garland (give candy to villagers)
• Spooky carriage (give Jack lollipop)
• Spooky wand (give Jack lollipop)

The following items can only be obtained during Halloween:

• Spooky rug (give candy to villagers)
• Spooky flooring (give candy to villagers)
• Spooky wallpaper (give candy to villagers)
• Jack's face (give Jack lollipop)
• Jack's robe (give Jack lollipop)

Yay! I mean, I did everything last year and just have a couple new DIYs to collect, but I still love the atmosphere and will be doing some super fun decorating~

Side note- I firmly believe more holidays should do holiday DIYs like Halloween does. Being able to get them directly from villagers is SO helpful, AND it actually encourages me to visit my neighbors, lol

I hate halloween in real life, but I'm excited to see it in New Horizons!

So excited to get and make all the pumpkin diys again! I reset in February, so I will be collecting/making them all over again. Loved the Spooky fence. And I can’t wait to get the new diys that they just added.

Kicks has managed to hook me up with the spider web tights in black, white, and orange, so I’m good to go there, lol.

I missed Halloween last year because I was not playing anymore but I'm excited to get the new recipes! I think there is so many diy to get during fall, it's incredible! Mapple leaf, Halloween, mushroom... I'm a bit lost haha. I'm quite sad as well because as I restarted my island some days ago, I don't have the 'big' shop and am unable to get the items. Can I get them by crafting? Popping balloons?

The Spooky items sold at the Cranny can be crafted. You just need the to get the DIYs from your villagers and balloons.

Don't worry right now we're only in the first stage of the autumn DIYS, so you've got plenty of time to gather the trees bounty DIY recipes from popping balloons regularly before mushroom comes into the mix, and the maple leaf DIYS won't be until november. So you can get them one step at a time. the halloween items you can craft yourself, check your villagers crafting to collect the recipes ^^

I'm so happy for the new DIYs! I've already started putting out a few pumpkin items, just to 'autumn up' my island, but now I'll turn the pumpkin towers around, so the carved faces show, and put out the rest of my Halloween goodies.

I'm going to have to hope the RNG gives me good luck, so I can get the spiderweb tights this year, as that's the only thing I missed last year.
