WASSUP!

I play ac day by day, and tomorrow is halloween woo!

But unfortunately I will most likely be gone all night in real life and probably not be able to hop on the game to celebrate halloween. If I change the date tomorrow morning back to the 30th, and then spend halloween in game a day later than halloween in real life? Will that work? Does it work like that?

Just make sure you don't let the time cross over the 6:00 AM mark--I mean, if it is 6:00 AM or later on the 31st (in your town), and you set the date back to the 30th, the game will count it as going forward a day and you'll risk losing a villager.

So you have two options to do this safely:

1) If it is currently the 30th in your town, or if it is the 31st but is before 6:00 AM, you are good to set the in-game clock to some time during the 30th. I would set it to 6:05 AM on the 30th, if it were me, just to make sure that the time would still be good by the time I got home.

2) If it is past 6:00 AM on the 31st in your town, set the in-game clock to 6:05 AM (or another time shortly after 6:00 AM), and then go about your day. Once you're home, you can set the in-game clock back to just before the Halloween event begins (I think it starts at 6:00 PM) and enjoy.

*Edited to clarify: Even if you accidentally let the game advance to Nov. 1st, you can still set the in-game clock back to Oct. 31st and celebrate Halloween. The drawback is that you'd risk losing a villager.

Yay cool thanks! So as of right now in game it is October 30th 8:12 pm. So I should set just the time back to 6:05 today the 30th?

Even if you let your game date go to the 1st nothing bad will happen, just don't load up on the 1st. Change the date straight back to the 31st before playing. This is something I've always done. Providing you don't load up on the correct date before doing the haloween event the game you will be fine
