Halloween Costumes

according to the labels on clothes in this game, I dress up in costumes everyday

To be honest, probably not unless someone/something prompts me to.
Halloween is by itself not a big thing over here.

I do dress up from time to time already, I mainly like the milkmaid hat/dress + wooden clogs as they scream 'watch out, Dutch person coming through'.

If I do have a reason to dress up for Halloween, I'll probably go with my pharaoh outfit + king tut mask + gladiator sandals. It's not very scary though...

One of my favorite things to do in Animal Crossing is dress up for holidays/special occasions. Halloween is no exception, so I bought the full imp costume.

Normally, I don't celebrate Halloween that much, however, I found the other day a nice looking Princess Peach dress design online and noticed that the small crown fits perfectly to it. May dress up my character as her just for fun on Halloween then.

I'm definitely dressing up! I'm torn between a skeleton, something like a princess, or one of the animal sets (except I like running around as a frog for fun sometimes normally, so probably not a frog). Since I have so many options in this game I'll probably coordinate different costumes every couple of days throughout October! I really hope they add a lot of really great fall and halloween decorations, I'd love to decorate my island for the holidays!!

I think so; I was trying to find the pocket camp item that I had and ended up coming across this. I know for sure the ghost item I was thinking about was from Lucky’s fortune cookie and that cookie had been out for awhile now. It would definitely be nice to see as much effort and inspiration put into the items for the fortune cookies into the halloween or any update for ACNH though.

I've never played Pocket Camp. If this was in New Leaf, then I don't remember. I fear the October update might be lackluster, and I'm hoping it's not. I feel like after the Bunny Day event, there were so many complaints about the eggs that Nintendo decided to just tone things down with other events after it.

PC has really cool items, feels like a waste since it's such a cash grab, incredibly unfriendly to F2P players that like collecting everything, though. ):

I've never played Pocket Camp. I had New Leaf and I saw all these other AC games coming out on the 3DS after it, and I wasn't sure if they were worth the money. I've seen some PC items and wondered why we don't have them in NH. What's F2P?

if I’m not mistaken, I recall reading in a thread somewhere that the company that made Pocket Camp or the items is different from the one that made NL & ACNH. If they do introduce some of these items - which would definitely be nice, I hope they don’t go the gacha or paid dlc only route.

With ACNH, I really don't think it should have to be paid for since the game is incomplete because they decided to put things in later on through updates. I would hope they don't go the EA route.

Yes!! I love dressing up for Halloween in this game. I wish there was a way to temporarily dress your villagers up too haha. Not sure what I am going to be this year, and I am hoping a new update with some fun costumes will come out soon

I might just wear one of red witchy outfits and take some pictures uwu. Halloween itself isn’t one of my favorite holidays (I prefer Christmas), but I like that it’s around autumn time. C:
