You can look up all the hairstyles on google since people have made guides.
I didn't know that after you get all the styles of your gender, you will be able to get hairstyles of the other gender then too. I learned that after I saw a girl with a boy cut and posted here.
That's cool because I want to try the boy shaved side haircut at some point.

I agree. I have long-ish hair as well and a long hairstyle would look so cute on my mayor. I don't even remember what hairstyle mine is currently wearing bc I use a lot of wigs. my favs are the hair bow and kintaro wig c:
Ikr I though I knew most of the things in the game but that really surprised me. I only found out about it a few weeks ago. I wanna get it for my mayor, I've never actually had it in-game
You have a get a hairstyle frequently, (not consecutively) I think you have to get your hair done 15 times or something.

I am not sure if it is the frequency or getting each type once. I personally tried to get every haircut and it worked for me!
No, you just have to change hairstyle 15 times. You do not need to have tried all of them. Only changing the haircolor also counts as changing haircut, if you want to do that.

The girls short hairstyle I had no idea existed. I was under the assumption that the only way to get short hair for a female was to unlock opposite gender hairstyles. So I was surprised to come across it while browsing the other week. I don't see many people using that hairstyle either but then again there's lots of short styles from the boys options which are cuter, in my opinion.
