Just a random thought, but why doesn't Blathers have a separate room in the museum for a gyroid collection? There are like 131 of them and we (well, at least those of us who are OCD hoarders) collect them and they take up so much space; some of us just sell them. For a "mechanic" that's so integral to Animal Crossing, I find it strange that there is no real record of the gyroids we've collected except for the catalog in the Nookling's store.

They're based off haniwa, and are hence archaeological artifacts. They really should have a room for the gyroids in the next game.

//end rant - annoyed at how my slight hoarder complex is making me waste my 2F museum rooms on gyroids...

Ugh, no. I don't want to have another thing to have to collect. Besides Reese pays well enough for Gyroids, I really don't care xD

This is actually what I was thinking back when I dug up my first gyroid. I hoarded them for a while until I ran out of space and looked online to see what I can do with them. I was disappointed in the fact that at best you could switch out the ones currently on display at Club LOL. I really wish that Nintendo would come up with some interesting back stories for the gyroids because they have interesting designs and because Brewster is obviously intrigued enough by them to make his own.

I wish there were a museum room. It just makes sense. I don't mind having to collect something extra.

I wouldn't mind somewhere to store them, but I'm fine without it. I gave up collecting them as they take up too much space and I'm not too fond of them anyway. I just dig them up on days where gyroids are on premium at Re-Tail.

I tried to collect them in the museum, but I ran out of storage so quickly with all these masses of unorderable items, so I started to sell most of them, I only keep them if I like how they sound. There should be a gyroid storage in the game.

brewster used to store 1 of each gyroid for u in city folk i remember. that was super convenient now that i think about it

I was surprised they removed this! I loved that feature, plus it gave Brewster a little bit more to do. I also like seeing that pigeon with more spotlight!

This is such an excellent idea!!! Speaking from one hoarder/completionist/collective obsessive to another! LOL
I am in total agreement! Actually, a third floor in the Museum just for collections would be awesome, No?
Then I could display all my portraits, seed bags, gyroids, etc etc! heh heh

I like the idea of a special storage for gyroids, but I feel like if they became part of your museum collection it would take forever to complete! But then again, it's like a year later and I still have only completed the fossil part haha

Make a new character and dedicate their home to being a gyroid museum. You could even theme each room with them. Also it is more space to store them than filling the smaller rooms on the 2nd story of the museum.

Another room would be cool for gyroids! I reckon it would make the game more challenging therefore more entertaining?! I would love for more things to do, and then you would also know what all the gyroids look like, making to soooo much easier!

Yes Gyroid are much, need they to have a new place to be in museum? Yes, you say they are 131 gyroid so need have seperate museum display! I agree much!

A museum room or giving them to brewster would be nifty! I would like to be able to see all of the gyriods, but there are just too many too keep. Like somebody said, we could just use a new characters house but that is even more effort and takes up space for pwp or villagers to move into.

Or perhaps Brewster could open up a museum of his own? That'd be pretty neat.
