Gyroid Face & Birthday...?

I'm now keeping a glitch log in blog form, but not many people read it and something happened that totally freaked me out, and I need people's input!

My character loaded with a gyroid face. The eyes and mouth were hollow, and... it's freaky. I know that you get the gyroid face if you reset while in another town, but I have no other town! I've never even used the train! Not only that, but apparently it's my birthday: Coco was waiting outside to give me an NES game. (I really hate Coco...) My birthday is in March; I told one of my neighbors that at the start of the game. In the game, it's August 6th (I haven't really bothered time-traveling yet). What the heck...?

I know my game's glitched up for some reason, but even so, this was totally unexpected. So, yeah... Not sure what else to say.

I might turn this thread into a glitch log too if there are any more super-weird glitches like this.

I got the game used at a small, local video-game store which I'd rather not name for personal reasons. It came with a memory card that already had a town on it. (For the record, it was the memory card that comes with AC:GC when you'd buy it new.)

I have another memory card, and I might try making a town on there later... And sorry, Lasyrs, but Coco just freaks me out. She looks totally soulless... ;_;

the previous owner could have been a hacker. and you're actually lucky they included the memory card. i paid $23.00 brand new
at toys r us in like 2004. that store was the best to buy GC games from back then.

This is a bit off topic, but you're lucky to have found a used copy of AC that game along with it's original memory card. But it's a bit unlucky how you're getting all these glitches. I guess this cancels each other out

Also, One question, Is your copy of animal crossing European or American? (You can tell by E-Cards in USA version)

my dreams are always premonitions of the future, and i mean, it's not a coincidence. you get used to it after a while. soon it won't be much of a shock.

That is really weird at how you've got a glitched up copy of the game as I have the PAL and NTSC versions of the game and both of them are absolutely fine.
There is even an Action Replay Code that I've got for the NTSC version where I can purchase Gracie's top from Tom Nook's catalog.

and if it is hacked, be careful. It could affect your Gamecube.
