Guinea Pigs on Animal Crossing?

Does anyone know if there are any guinea pigs or any guinea pigs stuff on Animal Crossing? D: Why are there no guinea pigs on Animal Crossing? >-< There's Hamsters, Camels, Pelicans, Squirrels, Pigs, Dogs, Cats, Octopus etc... Just a random thought o_o

I too love guinea pigs, but what would the visual difference between them and hamsters in this game? Just make hamsters that are medium size?

I think they would be pretty hard to design, especially now that hamsters are here.
I can't imagine how they would look.
Sadly no guinea pig items. There is a rodent cage but it more like a hamster cage as I believe it has a wheel.

Guinea Pigs would be cool in this game, but as the others have said, the hamsters and guinea pigs will look too alike. The guinea pigs will basically just be enlarged versions of the hamsters, heh.

Yea as much as I love guinea pigs they would be too similar to the hamsters. I think there should be fish! We have octopi so why not fish?! You could have an angel fish like design for a snooty personality and an angler fish with the light over his head as a cranky!

I was thinking the same! It might be kind of cool to have shark villagers, since we have octopi.

I also kinda want to see raccoons. I know we have nook and the nooklings but they're tanukis and aren't the same thing.

I guess it could be like hamsters to guinea pigs as cubs are to bears...

I know, but you can catch octopi and we have octopi villagers in the game.

Funny thing is that I caught an Octopus, and I let it go....the very next day, the plot for Marina's house showed up!
