Charlise's Super Awesome Cycling Guide

Please keep in mind this guide is not for cycling towns, only for main towns.

Introduction

Cycling is a great way to make TBT, or kick all of your villagers out of your town, but many of us don't have the money or time to have a cycling town, so why not just cycle in your main town?

Reasons to cycle in your main town:

You are not happy with your current villagers.
You need to make some extra TBT.
You need to cycle out 16 villagers for the 16 villager cycle (I will make another guide for that)
The most common reason: YOU NEED YOUR DREAMIE.

Guide:

To start cycling in your main town, you need to do a few first things before you even think about beginning.
The first thing you need to do is set your ordinance to beautiful town. This will be helpful if you are going to cycle a bunch of times per day.
You also need to make sure that you do not have any dreamies in your town. I had made this mistake while cycling, and it is a mistake I will not make again.
This is optional, but since you are going to be time traveling, you can make new PWPs and decorate your town while you are time traveling.

Now that you know what you are doing, let's start going over how to cycle.

You need to get a villager to ping you saying that they are moving out. If you are finding it difficult to get a villager to ping, you can try going two days forward, then two days back. Check every villager that is outside. If you still cannot get them to move out, then try moving weeks at a time, (1 week back, then 1 week forward). That should get at least one villager to move out.
Once a villager says they are moving out, save and quit and time travel directly to the date they are in boxes.
If it is a villager of high worth, then sell them, or if you still want them in your town after you are done cycling, then get someone to hold them for you.
Save and quit, then go back one year and 5 days, then one year forward, save and quit, then go 5 days forward. The next villager should be in boxes and a new villager will move in (if it is a dreamie, then stop cycling).
If it is not a dreamie, then repeat the going back 1 year and 5 days method, another villager will be in boxes and a new one will move in.

As always, be cautious while time traveling, as it could seriously mess up your town. Also, do not do this if you want a certain villager out, as you may cycle out a villager you like instead.

Nice guide :)
I'm not sure if there's one around anywhere that explains a good way for people to cycle in their main town if they have dreamies?
Maybe you could make one of those too if you get chance? I know it would help a lot of people who aren't happy with some of their villagers

Is there any possible way to do it with dreamies? I have to do the 16 cycle thing to be able to get Julian back, which is a pain, but I already have 8 dreamies in my town.

If you want to cycle villagers out, I would recommend not doing it with any dreamies in your town. However, if you do want most of your dreamies and you still want to cycle, have a bunch of people hold all of your dreamies and spend about 2 weeks cycling. It's tedious, but it works :)

Read the reply to BlackCatCrossing, it should sort of help. There isn't a good way to do this without losing one of your dreamies
