Guests can give villagers gifts on their birthdays!

(Thinking about this today because its Ankha's birthday!)

Last month my sister came over my island to celebrate Chester's birthday with me. Did you guys know that guests can give your villager a gift too at their bday party? PLUS if its furniture they will display it in their house!! My sister gave Chester a panda stuffed animal for his birthday which he placed on one of his bamboo benches! (He now has two stuffed pandas lol.) I think this is so cute and makes celebrating birthdays more fun!

I wonder if they will wear clothes guests give them for their birthday too?

Going to a villager's birthday in another town will give you credit towards the nook miles achievement for attending birthdays, too!

Unfortunately, you don't get letters from other people's villagers, but they do give you something in return immediately afterwards!
My sibling and I make it a point to go to each other's islands to celebrate villager birthdays and after over 10+ occurrences of this, I can guarantee that's how it works!

I have a short list of villagers I don’t have room for that I want to celebrate their birthday on other islands. I was able to celebrate Chrissy’s birthday this way thanks to someone on this forum and I just brought her wrapped fruit so I wouldn’t mess up her home on someone else’s island

Yes villagers will wear clothing from guests. Be careful the villager might like the guests gift more. Early game I wasn't sure what to buy for Static. Celebrated his birthday and my other island dropped by with clothing. Static wears the Guest clothing all the time and comments on it.
