Growing trees

what's the secret to growing trees. i plant like 5 and water them all but only 2 will grow. is there something I'm missing. and help would benefit me.

You could be planting where fossil and stuff appear? You can't plant there no matter how hard you try :\

As I was told, there are some parts that are fertile in your town. Some parts of your town will simply prohibit you from growing trees in that spot which in turn will result in trees not growing.

Here's a useful hint; plant trees in the same spot as the other trees. This will increase your chances of having the tree grow successfully ^_^

cedar saplings only grow on the top level and around the ramps leading up to the top level, so if you're trying to plant them on the bottom level, there's your problem.

i made an orcard but 4 spots wont grow no matter what, they al follow the same pattern as the rest :\

If your planting coconuts you have to plant them near the beach... well thats a bit obvious >_<
Also you have to be able to run around it because apparently if yo uplant it next to something it won't grow.

:X I don't think you need to water trees Just give them about 5-7 Days to grow... Last night I tried to plant money trees and the cash didnt grow

It won't just increase your chances, it will be 100% successful, so try to plant where there is a ton of trees.
