Hey everyone, my name is Patomonya and I've been a fan of Animal Crossing since it's release on Gamecube. I have very fond memories of playing the original, Wild World, City Folk, New Leaf and all the other titles in the franchise. These games hold a very special place in my life and they all give me a great sense of nostalgia.
I got the New Horizons Switch and game at launch and I've been playing it with my girlfriend non-stop since. It's a great Animal Crossing game and I can't wait to see where Nintendo goes from here. (Hoping Brewster makes an appearance, since he's one of my favorites.) The only downside I've found so far is the increased popularity and the somewhat toxic and fast paced meta that's spawned from it. I try to avoid that side of the game so far.
I remember a long time ago I stumbled across this site in it's infancy when looking for Animal Crossing communities. As I was a kid at the time, I actually didn't sign up because I was too shy to engage! Haha. I've decided to give it a try now that I'm playing New Horizons on the regular. I'm hoping to meet new people, trade and have some fun along the way.
My town's name has always and will always be Allyria, and I go by either Pato or Patomonya depending on the AC game in question. My current town is still a work in progress but I'm really happy with it so far. I'm hoping it ends up amazing like my New Leaf town did. To date, I'm really happy with my entrance and the flag I've designed for Allyria. I'm still looking for those pesky peaches, the only darned fruit I'm missing.
Besides that, I'm Northern Hemisphere (Canada) and I don't time travel. I don't judge but I've always frowned upon that aspect of the game. I play it the way it's meant to be played. (And wait for special visitors with baited breath)
