Here comes the second book I've enjoyed.
The Shining, by Stephen King.
AMAZING book, a great look into the human mind and delusions. In my opinion, his best book. Thrilling, inventive, and frightening. King captures the 60s in all its glory. A must read.
After I finished the book, I watched the movie, which is also great. Of course, it changes a lot from the novel, but still a great, thrilling movie with the demonic Jack Nicholson giving a great performance. Still quite scary even though it was made in the 80s.
