Grass wear question

After running around a lot, will grass wear show up the next day? I'm trying to make grass wear paths, so tsundere came over and ran around on the designs I've placed; so, how long until all the grass wear will actually appear?

Grass wear is caused by how much you play your game, rather than from running around. This is why even people who don't run, but were playing the game 7-hours a day when it first came out, saw that the grass began to wear away in just the first week.

I did the exact same thing of you, it took me about a month the wear the grass underneath completely. but then again I wasn't going crazy running on them, I just ran on the path without really meaning to wear it down

Ah, okay. So I guess I'll just sprint down each one a bunch of times each day and get my friends to help me. Then I can also TT once or twice a day so the grass will wear faster.

Once you decide on paths and have characters to hold all the patterns, grass becomes pointless when it's covered. You should try your best to remove the default look (Grass an trees), an go for a city look.

No, I like the nature-look; the exact reason I wanted grass wear paths. I want my town to look like a forest, and the paths will be the forest trails that always get marked by chopping all the plants there.

XD IRL, I personally hate looking at cities, because they don't look very vibrant and colorful... I mean, after you take away all the flashing lights. I want a natural look to my town~

you could use wooden paths! that's what i've done, it helps keep a little more of a woodsy look to your town than a city look.

keep in mind that grass regrows at the start of the day. so if you run around, TT a day ahead, run around, TT again etc you're actually repairing more grass than you're destroying.

SAVING is what renders grasswear. so run around, save & quit. restart, run around, save & quit.

i try to only save & quit once a day (at night) and just leave my town on the rest of the day in case i want to play for the express purpose of saving my grass, but if you want to wear it down all you gotta do is the inverse - save & quit a lot every day.
