Jordandelion
Krzzt!
I read somewhere, I think more than one source, that anytime you load up your town, every single tile of grass deteriorates a tiny bit (only by one point or so). Is this actually true? If so, that's a janky mechanic...

Honestly I hope we go back to no grass deterioration in the next game and have some way to plant and cut grass as we want.
I love dirty patterns.
For some reason all the grass right outside my house just decided to off itself I'm going insane
Since then, I've moved all my breeding hybrids to the beach, buried the fossils/pitfall on the beach so they won't respawn because I got all the fossils for my museum, stopped shaking trees and looking for the money rock, and almost always stick to walking only on my paths. That's the only thing that worked for me.
Now I have nice natural paths going with stepping stones and I didn't even have to try. I got them just by walking around town like normal. But I've had to give up a lot of the things that make AC feel like AC to me. It wasn't a trade I wanted to make, but I couldn't stand looking at my dirty town anymore.
