Gracie just turned up in my town for the first time, and she's demanding a historical theme. All I have is the armor shirt, I have no idea how to pass the test? I don't want to screw up, especially since I don't hoard clothing. I wasn't even expecting her to turn up.
Edit: I passed with a diving helmet and an armor shirt Pietro just gave me.
How often has Gracie appeared for you, and do you have any advice on passing her test?
I think you need to have at least three items from her theme to pass. I always made sure I had that, so I don't know if less would work or not. There are also some themes you cannot intermix or it's an automatic fail. Like FerahL, I keep stock in my museum. I also ordered a lot of items so that they were catalogued. When Gracie shows up, I could just order what I needed and it would arrive before Gracie leaves as long as it's ordered before 5pm.
Congrats on passing! I also used the Thonky Gracie guide from the above post ^^ it really helped! I usually worse 3 items from whatever theme Gracie asked for, then a couple from another theme that didn't 'clash' according to the guide. I also kept a small stash of clothes in my closet ^_^ For me, she came maybe once every other week until I had all four checks done. Hopefully she won't catch you out next time!
