lol wow, ive never gotten an invisible item before.. hmm.. weird.. did you restart the game just so you could redo it and it wouldnt be invisible?

Yeah, I exited right away. And still the same thing happened.
Thinking about it now, a few factors could have made it happen.

A little background:
-She wanted me to wear "modern" clothing, which is the hardest to get. There's only a few. So I had to buy from trading.
-I just borrowed the Gracie hat from someone here & then talked to Gracie.
-Upon talking to Gracie, my inventory was full so she said I should come back.
-I returned the borrowed item from the trader then ended the session.
-Came back to Gracie to retrieve "reward" which is an invisible item. Is it because I'm wearing a different hat now? Shouldn't happen. So weird.

Huh, that's never happened to me before. On the bright side, at least she didn't give you an item (but didn't appear in your pockets) that would corrupt your game. By the way, nice reference to the Incredibles. That actually made me smile.

It sounds like the glitch came from you not wearing the modern item anymore, which should have disqualified you from the reward, but the game had already registered the transaction as you qualifying, so she gave you something but you didn't get anything. Super weird glitch though!

Yeah. It could be that the reward would be determined by what I wore. I mean, I only just removed the hat so idk why Gracie is being petty.

So I tt'd and Gracie disappeared, but that wasn't my intention. I missed the sunset and I was planning to upload my DA today as it's the last day for the hydrangea bloom. However, it's raining the entire day anyway, I wanted the sunset sky, so plan ruined.

So since Gracie is gone I guess I'm not getting that reward, but I'd take that over getting my game corrupted.

I'm not having a good day on ACNL today

Hmm.. I doubt this could have corrupted a savefile. As you said, no item appeared in your inventory (as in no inventory text for this item), so it seems like it was a "return false" issue. Were suppose to get X, but received Y which was essentially nothing due to an odd error.

Never thought this could be possible. I presume it doesn't appear in your inventory as an option right? Like you can fill your pocket completely?

Thank you! And yes. Imagine the glitch involves that non-existing item FOREVER taking 1 space off my inventory, I would be absolutely pissed.
