Gracie! ~ First fashion check

Gracie showed up in my town for the first time! The theme is basic but I don't really have many cloths...
1. Does anyone have suggestions on what I should be wearing?
2. If I fail/ don't do the fashion check when will Gracie come back?

1. Here and here are two good sources for you to check. The first one has a chart that shows how the checks work and what styles you should absolutely never wear together. It also has a list of clothes and what style they have, but I think that some of the names of the clothes might be wrong. The second one just has a list of all the clothes in the game and their style, and this one should be correct on all clothing names (just go to the top under the Clothing bar). Go through your catalog and see if there's anything you can use.

2. Gracie acts like other special visitors and has a chance of appearing once a week every week. That being said, you do need to pass her check four times, and you can easily go weeks without seeing her, so I'd highly recommend you start passing her checks now, unless your either a time traveler or you just really don't care about the Emporium for whatever reason.

i got all my fashion checks in a few days
she came on a thursday so i TTd to wwednesday, back to thursday an shed be there
if i couldnt do the check (dont havve the clothes), i go back and repeat the process
the guides SonatinaGena gavve are good places to check (i havve a seperate guide that i use)

If you have a separate guide would you mind posting it? I like to have a lot of different sources ^-^%

So I was looking at the chart and under basic it says that rock n' roll and flashy fail, does this mean I can use any other style and it still count as basic? =o

Gracie likes when you mix and match styles. That chart shows you, per your example, that if you wear mostly basic items and a rock 'n roll item, you'll fail. So either wear only the theme she asks for, or one item from another theme that won't give you a failed check.

Ugh, Gracie. I had such a terrible time of her showing up, and then I never had the right clothes, but I winged it a few times without looking up the clothing themes and had luck! It took me about 6 months (I refuse to TT) to get all her checks (I only failed one, too - oops). By the time the 4th one rolled around I WAS SOOO HAPPY!

I hope you don't have the same terrible luck I had

Thank you guys! I ended up passing! I mixed the basic theme with 2 cute items and Gracie said I nailed it ^-^%
