I'm trying to price stuff lower from now on.

Right now, the only items available are the ones below:

Tools:
Silver Slingshot - 3 in stock - 200 Bells each
Silver Shovel - 1 in stock - 200 Bells each

Furniture:
Rooster of Barcelos - 1 in stock - 300 Bells each
Lovely Bed - 1 in stock - 100 Bells each
Aurora Screen - 1 in stock - 200 Bells each

Gardening:
Fertilizer - 1 in stock - 300 Bells each

Misc. Items:
Fortune Cookie - 4 in stock - 100 Bells each


The reason for this is because I want to know: what items would people like to see to start off my shop? If I have the means to get it, I'll sell it!

I think the Princess set and the Gorgeous set are pretty popular. Also, anything from the island.

Wow my bad, I really don't want to repeat myself again..
If you consider adding the Zodiac set to your shop, just keep in mind that you'd have to TT for each piece.
It'd be best if you have a 2nd copy of New Leaf so you don't have to worry about your favorite villagers moving out.
The Weeding day set also seems very popular lately but would require a 2nd town too.
