Golden Villager Statue in AC:NL?

Someone just asked me if I have the Golden villager statue in AC:NL.. Is this even available in acnl? Or is it only in HHD?

it's in New Leaf, you can get it from the Villager RV if you have his amiibo.

I have been able to reorder the same items from villager several times so it should be fine
