No, retail is for selling/buying in-game items whether it be for TBT or igb
Marketplace is for selling/buying forum items, usually collectibles for TBT

Sorry for the bother, then, but I don't understand it. What are you calling "forum items"?
Everything you can manage here belongs to the game, right? At least that's all I've seen around, since you can't buy/sell/trade real life stuff nor use real life money. Thus, Marketplace is where people use the TBT
