Glitching Question

I have heard a lot about glitching on New Leaf so I looked it up online. The things you can do with the Tweeter are pretty cool. But will doing these things hurt your game or save file in any way? Glitching would be fun to try, but not if it is going to ruin my game.

Glitching in any game can possibly put the game in limbo or some sort. Glitching can potentially hurt your save file depending on what you're "glitching".

The Tweeter glitch won't do anything to your save file.

The duplication glitch is still relatively new to the West, so not much has been revealed from it yet.

Thanks guys! It is interesting, but I don't think I will be trying it. I don't want to lose weeks worth of hard work. I hope Nintendo puts out a patch to fix that and the duplication glitch.
