Glitch with sneaking with the Net

I was trying to sneak with my net, and when I held the net and held the A button down and then started moving my character would walk like I wasn't holding the a button down... but then I would release the A button she would smack the net down. Has anyone else had this glitch happen to them?

I really don't want to be that person, but I don't really think this video shows us much - we would see the exact same thing if we were to open the game, walk around a bit and then press A every now and then to whack with the net.

Again, I am not trying to be that internet dude that yells "Fake!!" at everything he sees. It's probably a real thing, I'm just very curious right now, because you promised us glitches and I am not seeing enough to go on here. So, do you have any more information? What were you doing before it happened, and how did you fix it?

I know exactly what you're talking about, because it cost me a good few bugs.
I'm not sure if it's "known" or not.

My shovel will also occasionally cancel out in the middle of a dig animation (I'll reach toward the ground with it, but suddenly stop and not dig the whole).

I've definitely had that happen, though I've never had the net issue, so I'm afraid I can't help with it.

What were you doing before it happened, and how did you fix it?

I'm... pretty sure they're looking for help fixing it? It sounds like the issue is that the video looks normal, but they said they were holding down the "A" button at the time, so it SHOULDN'T look like that.

Ah, duh, how I did fix it the net issue:
I just un-equipped and re-equipped the net. Snapped right out of it. (After scaring off a bunch of bugs and getting frustrated and confused and calling my S.O. over)
It hasn't happened since, but is good to keep in mind if it happens again.
