Glitch or is Bunnie possessed?!

Ok so I'm digging holes around all my villagers and going off for 5 mins so I come back and they ping, whatever.
So I trapped about 3 of them by a cliff and saw Bunnie was gone. Holes still there. Villagers there. Bunnie on the freaking beach below the cliff. Obviously I can't push her back up the hill so I dug three holes around her trapping her against the cliff. I go back up and come back down to see the holes still there but she's free. Wtf?! Why!? Lmao.

Update: I put layers of holes around her and she magically is now roaming above the cliff. I am losing my patience.

Updated update: Now O'Hare somehow escaped. He and Bunnie both rabbits. Is this a sign?

Are you sure you didn't accidentally leave a gap she could have walked out through? I've done that before without realizing.

Maybe the game doesn't allow villagers to get stuck on the beach, and it re-generated her as a result? *shrug*

There's a glitch where you can push villagers off the cliff. Maybe you unintentionally did so?

Did you go in and out of any buildings?? Like Retails, your house, other villagers house, etc.. if you did that might have freed her... xD

Nope. No gaps. I stayed outside. She kept escaping every time I trapped her! So weird. I think maybe I had too many villagers crammed in one spot.

Also if there's a glitch to push villagers over the cliff my sadistic side wants to know how cause that sounds hilarious lmao.

That happened to me before with a couple of villagers when I was trying to get a PWP! I trapped Muffy with holes then she was sitting on the bench in front of my cafe when I found her. But when it happened to me, the hour changed, so it turned to X:00 (can't remember exactly what time it was) and for some reason that reset the placement of some of my villagers

I'd try and trap here away from the cliff though, and see if that helps.

They escape after a period of time. When I trapped villagers I disliked they'd always come out 5-15 minutes later.
