OK, first two participants have received their gifts.
As of now, there is room for four more participants (have a fifth set of wrapped goodies reserved for MayorMae).

Hi.
I'm interested in giving away items to players as a way of giving back to the New Leaf community that has given me a lot. In the topic title I said preferably for new players because they're more likely to be without the items yet, and more likely to be impressed by them. However, that's not to say long time players are excluded, or that the items are necessarily unimpressive. Some of the items I recall wrapping up include a pave chest, mummy casket, golden chair, etc.
As mentioned, all of the gifts are wrapped. I have 30 gifts, or 5 per person. I have this topic posted not only here but at one other forum, too, so the first 6 people, regardless of forum, will get the gifts.
Also, since I just received a golden ax for free from a long time player, I have 8 regular axes and 3 silver axes that I am also giving away. Just let me know if you want some, even if you are asking for wrapped gifts (they won't count toward your gift total).
Anyways, I'm going for now so it may be awhile before I add those interested in the giveaway, but I'll get to you soon as I can.
I am not expecting a gift or anything in return; I won't think less of you. As mentioned above, I am concerned with giving back to the NL community. That said, if you insist on giving something to me in return, I of course won't refuse, though long time players will be more likely to have items I am still looking for on my wish list, and obviously the rarer items on the list would not be justified even if I were expecting anything in return: http://moridb.com/catalogs/kqLHdhzO61
EDIT: Oh, by the way, please let me know if you'd prefer I keep your FC on my list or if I should remove you after the giveaway. I like having people over to my town to wander, use the shop, etc., but if you don't see yourself coming back please let me know you'd rather I remove you after the giveaway.
