What are some of your favorite gifts you have gotten for Christmas in the past?
Why are they some of your favorite?
Would it be a gift you would get for someone else? (not regift !)
Do you still have the gift(s)? If not, what happen to them?

I had a lot of very valuable gifts in the past, but one of my most memorable one was a metal Diddl pen box with four glitter pens in it, that were going to become my favorite colors without knowing. Purple, pink, teal and blue. I loved those pens to death!
Of course as I grew up and moved I used up the pens and lost the box, but I still remember opening it and the joy associated with it like it was a few years ago.

I don't think I'd gift that to anyone else unless I know they're feeling Diddl nostalgia or they're a lot into glitter stationery (like I still am today!) (I loooove glitter pens so much. They're so joyful and whimsical!)

My memory is crap so I don't remember that many of them but one I got, from my sister, is really cool! It's a LoZ-themed mug, that I still have to this day! In fact, it's next to my mouse pad, holding all my writing utensils.:)

My fav gift I ever received is my star sapphire ring from my mom. My dad got it for her back in like 1975 as a promise ring. She put it in my stocking when I was 11 years old and it is still my most cherished possession.

My fav gift my hubs ever got me is my Bertha Owl watch. (these are actually pretty expensive watches and he managed to get it for a fraction of the cost which was awesome) The funny part of the story is that I wanted this watch for Christmas, but they make it in multiple different colors and different types of bands and the one I asked him for was on a leather band and he ordered this one for me instead because because he knows I wear mostly all silver and even though he got me the wrong one I ended up loving it so much better than the one that I sent him a picture of that I originally wanted!!!

Alright so I have had quite a bit of nice gifts in the past but I am going to talk about the first super nice gift that I got that I had begged for. I won a contest when blockbuster was super popular where you could rent the new Nintendo 64 that was going to soon be released for consumers. I played it for a week, and the game they gave us to play was Mario 64. I loved it so much, and when we had to return it I was so sad and said I wanted one. My mom said to put it on my list and we will see if Santa is able to get it for you. It had to be like pre-ordered in October for her to get it for Christmas since it was really popular in our area. I got it! I was so excited! She got me a few games too: Super Mario 64, Wave Race 64 and Mischief Makers.

Some of my favourites are a set of 60 gel pens I got when I was 10, a blue bugs bunny bike (with stabilisers ๐Ÿ˜Œ) when I was 8, Hyrule Warriors gamecard + Linkle's compass when I was 12, the first Artemis Fowl book also when I was 12, my current phone when I was 13, and (this was quite a while ago) a set of 100+ pokemon figurines when I was 6. Yup, I was big into pokemon lol

Of course I'm thankful and glad for all the gifts I've gotten. These are just the ones that stood out to me. I don't have the pokemon anymore because I donated them to a school for handicapped kids because they liked pokemon, and idk what happened to that blue bugs bunny bike I screamed the house down with excitement for 10 minutes after unwrapping it, but I'm sure it's happily in a dump somewhere by the kids who bought it from us when I got too big.

I think the only ones I'd actually buy as gifts for people would be the gel pens and the book, because ain't no way I'm buying someone a phone or new console game lol.

My sister got me Taylor Swift Funko Pops from Etsy last year. Kinda tacky, but I love the thought put into it. And I do have basic taste indeed.

My most-used holiday gift is the Mario 3DS, where I then used it to play Animal Crossing: New Leaf! It's an older system at the point, so I don't think I'd buy it as a general gift at this point. Though, I did get a 2DS for my partner one year so they could play with me! I still have mine and still occasionally play it, though it's a bit on its last leg from use lol.
