Giant Snakehead Help/Tips?

Ok so I have been save and continuing for around 2 hours now trying to catch a Giant Snakehead.
I must of caught around 5 Dorados and 4 Pirahnas. Anyone have some tips? Please this is killing me -_-.
I heard they were in the lake area only, but I haven't found one. Am I doing something wrong? It's 2pm here.

Hmm. I've only caught 2, and even if it says they're uncommon, I've caught more 'rare' dorados.

On the wiki it say June to August. So maybe the start of June to the start of August? That's all I've got

I think I just found one but scared it away.

I really hope you find one soon. I've been trying to find an arowana since WW. In Wild World, it was the only fish I was yet to catch.

Oh, I have all fish avalible in August except from Giant Snakehead, Catfish, Neon Tetra, Coelacanth, Whale Shark.
Arghhh. It's so hard xD

Although, you shouldn't be that upset that you haven't caught a Coelacanth yet. Only very few have.

I caught a giant snakehead once, but on my second character so now I need to catch one with my mayor too. It's super annoying, I haven't tried that hard yet, but i guess I should do that soon.
