Getting back into acnl

I got the game just over a year ago and around November last year I stopped playing the game. I just didn't like the game like I used to, I didn't know what to do in the game. I restarted my town in an attempt to get back into the game but I still didn't like it like I used to.
I really want to get back into the game because I really liked the acnl fandom. If you have any ideas that I could try, I would love to hear them.

Set a goal for yourself. Make a list of dreamies, or the perfect town you want to aim for. It helps you to want to keep playing to work towards your town. Have fun!

Definitely set goals for yourself like getting all of your dreamies, planning potential PWP placements, find a nice path and get stuff set up and work on your badges. I'm currently working on fishing and getting my gold weeding badge so that keeps me into playing the game
