Excuse me if this is not relevant: You cannot grow perfect fruit trees except those that pertain to your native fruit, which it seems in this case to be the apple. You can only grow perfect apples in your town. Perfect fruit of other varieties, when planted in your town, will grow to be regular fruit trees.
