Gardening design ideas?

Okay so what flowers, trees & bushes compliment each other?

My town is gonna have a 3 width path (it'll be this path & then i'm planting perfect apple trees 1 space from each other on each side. & I wanted to incorporate bushes between the trees.

A = Apple, O = Path, B= Bushes

AOOOA
BOOOB
AOOOA
BOOOB

Thats the basic idea of my design, but does anyone have like images of different bushes next to the apple trees? Or suggestion which bushes i should plant next to them?

I originally wanted only Hibiscus bushes since we have those in Hawaii/Oahu but i didn't want to limit myself to different designs, lol.

Ideas anyone?

fyi if you plant the bushes right next to the trees, you basically won't be able to see the bushes. If you want the bushes visible, you might wanna alternate the tree and bushes like this:

AXOOOXA
ABOOOB
AXOOOXA
ABOOOB

with X being like a flower or something.

as for what bushes go well with apple trees... holly/hibiscus like you suggested? though, the flowers are only gonna bloom during certain times of year, so unless you plan on keeping your town permanently during the time period when they bloom, I don't think it matters that much lol

LOL! I never thought about it like that... Shoot well i already planted all the trees so i'm gonna plant them like that after i raid the trees! xD

But that's true, i guess it's only for when the flowers bloom then!

What about bushes/flower combos? What looks good? I prefer roses, cosmos, tulips, lilies & violets. I don't like pansies at all ):​

personally I think red roses look the best with them

as for general flower combos.. pink/white hybrids, yellow/orange hybrids, black/orange, blue/purple, etc...

I generally refer to a colour complementary wheel while I'm looking for things to match.

I think that white roses and white tulips look quite pretty together.
