Fish can't be traded. There's is no legitimate way to transfer fish. You can't drop it, you can't put it into a letter, and releasing it into the ocean only released a quick animation that can't be altered in such a way where the fish can be transferred by fishing rod. I don't know of a way without those hacks or whatever, but it's just not possible to do, sorry to bring any possible bad news, but the encyclopedias must be done by only catching fish or bugs that you caught yourself only on that file. Technically, it's only fish caught on the file that can be donated, and I should also mention that you can't do some sort of foreign donation either, if you ask me if there was that feature someone would just start TTing and then the museum donations would basically become completely worthless and complete worthlessness isn't that good. But anyways, that aside, it's just not possible, someone can also confirm this that they know for sure that the first sentence of this post is true, one hundred percent true, not to rub it in or anything, but yeah, that's all I gotta say about this.
