i definitely wanna do something that relates to the greek culture, but i dont know what would be the best to use as far as furniture and paths and bridges/inclines ..any help?

Frozen arches and frozen pillars would probably help out. I wish they had kept the posts/pillars they had in New Leaf. The stone paths (not the arched stone paths) work well for a Greek theme if you were to look up ancient Greek roads. They call them Roman roads, but whatever. I'd probably use terra-cotta roads as well for a more fancier location. Your villager could wear a chiton or Palatial tank dress, and gladiator boots. For bridges and inclines, I'd use the stone bridge, brick bridge, stone staircase, natural ramp, and/or brick staircase.

I've been using the stone paths/bridges/inclines/fences because there seems to be a lot of stone architecture in Greece--at least from my experience.
Wish they'd bring the column items back... I've been using 1x1 pieces of "cliff" as columns in some areas LOL.

When you get Redd, you can keep the fake artwork and use statues from that. There is at least 4 statues that I would consider Greek.

how about the symbols for the zodiac signs? like the constellations or maybe something reminiscent of the different animals :)

ooh and possibly a huge feasting hall! im reading odyssey rn and they're constantly roasting meat and drinking wine for feasts - bathing areas would work too

id love to have a corner devoted to stargazing, so what kinda zodiac things you have in mind?

I am using the stone stools as pillars... if you want to make some Greek ruins! For the same purpose I use the stone walls, which serve perfectly as the ruins of ancient structures. Would also recommend the Celeste DIYs!
ruins would be cool! how about house, shop, and museum placements?

You can get statues from Redd! He actually sells the Nike of Samothrake (valiant statue), the Venus de Milo (beautiful statue) and the Diskobulus of Myron (robust statue).

Isabelle will talk about a shady character on your island who is Redd. He will sell you art, like real world art, and some times they are fake and some times they are real. I've been buying up the fake art to decorate my house because all the real art you donate to the museum.

Also some of the fake art is haunted so occasionally you will see it do things like paintings will blink, statues have been seen to float. So be aware of that lol

for columns, if you don't have the diy for the frozen set, you can use white upright lockers and then turn it so it's not front facing

I am going to place my museum on the acropolis, to serve as fortress. But you can also make it serve as a temple and place it somewhere else, since it has the temple-style going for it. Making a central place for the shops and plaza would be good, to serve as the agora (market place and political centre). Houses I would place around the agora, to create an ancient Greek town (or polis, whatever you want to call it).

ive bought things from redd but i havent ever gotten a statue

how did you place your houses?

They are still on the beach, since I have just started terraforming! But I am planning on making little neighbourhoods around the central area (plaza, shops, signifying the agora of Greek city-states, which was the marketplace and political centre) to create a small Greek city-state :)
