TBT sent out a notice about a month or so ago stating that it isn't right for people to increase auction timeframes or buyouts just to get more money, and that if the users bidding felt cheated they could now leave the OP negative feedback.
Lowering a buyout is ok, so is shortening an auction, as there would be no greed involved.
