what are your frustrations about the game?

i find it frustrating that many of the villagers that have such cute designs are "normal" villagers/have the same personality type like lily, melba, fauna, gala, coco, pekoe.. and a lot more.

i really want to have some of the villagers because of their designs but i wouldnt want a town full of villagers who just say the same thing T__T

Well, maybe I should say things I want to see improved on in the next animal crossing considering they are my frustrations?

Refurbishing can be annoying since there is no way to preview how an item will look without wasting 30 minutes.

Yes, would be nice to see a catalog of options assuming you have the needed items unlocked. I'd like PWP placement to be more like ACPC - I'm assuming next iteration it will be. Also an easier way to get rid of villagers. An easier way to manage storage and inventory in general. Another PC feature I wish we got with WA is that instead of a leaf icon for every furniture item, each item gets its own appropriate icon. Other than that, WA addressed almost all my frustrations with the vanilla version.

I agree!! To be honest, villagers need more dialogue?? It's very limited, if you think about it.... Also, I'd love to have more personality types, like goth, nerd, shy, etc etc..... I'm also unhapy with how you only have 10 designs per villager, so if you want a more detailed path/different types of paths, you have to make more villagers?.. I'd also love to be able to put villagers' houses where I want, because then they won't crowd around my house, and I can make nice little neighboorhoods!

I could write a book the size of 'War & Peace' on this subject.

It might be easier to list what doesn't frustrate me.

Fishing, and catching bugs. (I like.) ^_^

So when you first go into the menu and select a character, and Isabelle appears, it annoys me you can't get out if you accidentally select the wrong character. I've had to go back out of the game and go back in multiple times because I've hit the wrong person.

Not exactly a frustration, but in further games I hope that you can interact more with some special characters. Maybe have your villager count higher and much bigger so the special characters can get their own houses (at least the ones who aren't in their shop or whatever 24/7 so you can meet them off hours and interact with them like other villagers).

That's my two cents at least.

One thing that I find very frustrating is probably landscaping. Whenever I tried to make a big forest
in my town, I always had that problem that a bunch of my trees died, even if I kept an eye on that
each tree as enough space to grow. It gets even more frustrating when you have to deal with those
dead spots in the town. I don't how many times these stupid dead spots ruined my plans for making
a nice forest.

Another thing which is frustrating is when you want to put a PWP on a specific place but you're not
allowed to do it. As much as I like Isabelle, I hate it when she starts to complain that I can't build
a PWP there, even if there is enough space for it. "Oh, mayor! You can't build it there, this is in the
way!", Oh, mayor! You can't build it there, that is in the way!", "Oh, mayor! You can't build it here,
we are too near the plaza!"... Isabelle! The damn plaza is miles away, here is enough space, stop
saying we are too near of it when it's not true!! Ugh, I mean, after all I find ways to build the PWPs
on places I like, but to start complaining just because of a few centimeters is annoying.

If you place bunch of trees in a circle-like pattern and have one in the middle, it will die, even if has room. Maybe this is what is happening to you?

Plant the middle tree first.

Let is sprout, then plant the outer trees.

Shade is a factor.
It's dying because of the outer trees.

I always mess with the planting order, until I get it right.

It is very frustrating!

Oh my god, that works?!?! I had no idea it was about shade, what an amazing tip!

Some spots are dead spots, where nothing will grow, but it's usually shade, or planting too many in one place.

Just mess with the planting order, leaving the outer trees until the day your middle tree has sprouted. ^_^

i dont have much problem because this doesnt affect me personally, but choosing your skintone? i think its pretty bs the only time you can have dark skin is during the summer! i think a lot of people would like to choose their skintone ^^

they have been incorporating that into acpc and achhd. I bet it'll be implemented into the new AC game!

but on topic, its the errands and the normal speech all jumbled together that frustrates me. I just want to have a civil conversation with an animal without them pestering me to get them furniture! It's kinda annoying

oh really? sorry i didnt know that, ive only played acnl (i dont have hhd or currently have a phone that can get apps;;) but im glad theyre finally incorporating it! i know ive wanted to make a few of my characters have different skintones and it always frustrated me

Why can we only build 30 pwps? By the time you're finished building all the big projects like the tower, there's no room for smaller projects like lamps. I want at least 30 lamps in addition to my larger projects.

My frustrations in New Leaf that I would like to see improved in the next game would probably be...

-Isabelle being an absolute nuisance and pain in my side about where I want to place my pwp's
-Not being able to sit and drink coffee in Brewster's for more than 15 seconds
-The fact that villager dialogue is so dull and hollow compared to previous games
-Grass regeneration or the lack of...
-I can't place something in the middle of a table (praise be to HHD)

That's all I can think of for now.

-I can't place something in the middle of a table (praise be to HHD)
This absolutely! With round tables the items are located so much on the edge of the table too, it looks like they'll fall off soon. That and the rocks mostly frustrate me about the game.

not much frustrates me about the game mostly villagers getting in my way of doing the daily tasks...like pinging me or entering my house or just blocking my path.

- more control over where villagers plot (control plotting as mayor. if you can choose where PWPs and new shops go, you should be able to control where villagers plot more easily.)
- picking up villagers from other peoples voids is a horrible thing. villagers should only be picked up from streetpass imo. I hate it when I move someone out so I can move in another villager, and then I get a random move in from someone's void the next day, ruining my plans.
- villagers being extended tutorials, even if your town is years old. still telling you how to shake trees and hit rocks three years later!
- get rid of timed visits to your house. I wouldn't turn down as many villagers if they didn't ask to come over at specific times.
- I get that villagers coming over randomly is a sign of high friendship, but when I'm in the middle of interior designing and one butts in, it's very annoying to wait for them to leave before continuing.
- Grass ware is absolutely one of the worst things ever.

~Way to pick where your Villagers live. They've ruined my landscaping plan too many times :(

~Get rid of timed visits.

~PWP wiggle room. I don't care how close I am to the river, Isabelle. I'm the mayor. Let me do what I want.

~The ability to talk to shop owners after hours.

~More buildings in Main Street. A hospital, a school, Leif should have his own and much bigger gardening shop, maybe a restaurant...

~The ability to cook and eat food

~The ability to fix dead grass spaces

I guess these are more suggestions than frustrations... whoops.
