How do you guys decide what trees to put down in your town? Do you just randomly plant fruit trees and regular trees or do you plan their locations and if so how do you decide to put down fruit trees vs regular trees? Do you exclusively plant fruit trees? Or do you have a ratio of x y z fruits to regular trees?

I'm trying to decide what I wanna do with the trees in my town and I wondered what you guys do to maybe help me figure out what I want to do

I find fruit trees to look just better than regular ones,so what i do is plant only fruit trees and leave 2 regulars for the daily furnitures :)

I haven't done it yet but I plan on having all my fruits lined up like an orchard and centralized in one location of the town, then I'll have my pines set in the northern part of town, which I have deemed it Christmas all year round. I will have some pines in the lower northern areas as well as maybe near the orchard if I decide to have it up north. I don't have a set ratio, I just want it to look pretty :)

Mine are all placed exactly where I want them ( I don't plant them randomly). I love the cedars and some light up at Christmas. (I really like that). I tend to plant a lot of fruit trees. I like the colors, but I always feel like I should have planted regular during cherry blossoms. Towns look so beautiful with all the blossoms in bloom.

i used to have mostly fruit trees but then the colours changed and it looked really ugly so i put in a lot more regular ones to make it look a little better. I put cedars just p much where i feel like it would fit. idk. i'll have a place to plant a tree and think what would look better. usually i put in regular saplings now because i have so many fruit trees.

I have mostly regular trees for cherry blossom season and pine trees around PWPs in the northern half of town. I also have a small orchard of the five basic fruits behind retail because I didn't know what else to put there.

My southern area is all fruit trees planted in groups of 10 by fruit. My northern area is mainly cedars and then a group of perfect cherries. I don't really plant any regular trees, but I probably will later for cherry blossom season.

It all depends on what is being built in that area. I like to keep plenty of normal trees for Cherry blossom time though.

I have mostly have regular and cedar trees, randomly placed. I just prefer the colours. I do keep some fruit trees near an area with lots of villagers though, since the fruit trees look pretty near their homes.

I mostly have normal trees because of the cherry blossoms, and a row of perfect orange trees lining the train area. I have some cluster of peach trees because I feel like they go best with cherry blossom season, but they're always mixed in with normal trees. I also have a few other fruit trees, but not too many. The only area where I've planted cedar saplings was around my campsite since I'm not sure it fits with the theme for the rest of my town.

I have a forest themed town, so the northern half of my town is largely dominated by cedar trees. There are a few regular and fruit trees around the northern half around villager houses or PWPs where I think looks good. I also have a small amount of bamboo around Drago's house in a kind of zen garden type deal.

The southern half of my town has a lot of fruit trees. My town fruit are oranges, so I use those a lot around town. I try to coordinate the color of the fruit with villager houses or PWPs to either coordinate or compliment each other.

All my towns have a lot of cedar trees and are ready for Christmas. I like the lights. Some regular trees are at the bottom part of town. I only have one type of each in town fruit tree and some perfect fruit trees to add colour.

Main town event plaza has cedar and perfect fruit trees around it.
