Franklin not on my island ACNH

Hello! I was excited to participate in turkey day today since my family can't celebrate thanksgiving this year, but franklin isn't even on my island today I do not know who to contact, can someone please help me? (My switch is on the current day/time)

The same exact thing is happening to me! My internet is on, the game is on the latest update, and the date and time are on the correct setting. I literally have no clue why franklin isn't in my town

I had the same issue on my new island which currently houses only 5 residents. I think perhaps it may be dependent on having all the villagers slots? I have no idea and would love to know as well. Sorry I'm not of any help.

My island has every villager slot filled and I've been playing the game since it came out. I got the halloween event last month, so I'm really confused as to why turkey day isn't happening on my island

Yeah I have no idea, I'm as lost as you are, I'm sorry. I sure hope someone has some answers for this so you and others are able to access the event! <3

I had this too earlier today. Started up the game and found the hedgehog character (Lable?) in the plaza instead of Franklin. Turning off Flight mode and restarting the game did it for me. I think game is supposed to be ver. 1.6.0a if that helps.

Do you have a nintendo account linked to your switch? I didn't until just a few minutes ago, and after closing the game and restarting it with a nintendo account linked, franklin is in my town. If you don't have one linked, then that may be your issue too!

If this is true, I believe only one account per island is needed to linked with Nintendo to trigger the events. As I have one and my sister does not and we were both able to participate in our island's halloween event. I haven't checked this for Thanksgiving yet.

This is correct and you can check the game is up to date with version 1.6.0 by checking the game's software information from the home button (while the game is inserted or is currently active, simply press the "+" button when on the game's icon)

were you able to access the event yet? If not, make sure you have a Nintendo account linked to your switch and then the event should work.
