Found villager on mystery island the same day she moved out.

Hi, I am new to the forum. Umm.. not sure if anyone has encounter this..
I have this villager Plucky who were the one of the two first settler on my Island. So today she moved out. (I didn't force her out, like I talked to her and give her stuff, but she just said she wanna move out one day and I agreed)
So I went on to the mystery island to search for new people... and then I found her again on my third visit on the mystery island!?!?
Her first dialogue seems to have a slight recollection of my character but after I talk to her the second time, she acts as if I am a new person she just meet.
Not sure if this is normal

This is normal. The Plucky you met is effectively a different "instance" of the same villager and won't recognize you.

If you had someone adopt your Plucky, she would move to their island, and then you visited that specific Plucky, she would remember you. If, say, I also had Plucky living on my island, and you visited her, it's a "different" Plucky, and she would consider you a stranger.

Yup, you can definitely find villagers you've kicked out again on mystery tours. I've seen a couple I've kicked out too. Getting Plucky again on your first try is actually pretty lucky (or unlucky?)! They shouldn't remember you though.

Nah it's normal, happened to me multiple times including with Raymond

That's normal. I kicked out a villager to TT and spent hours kicking them out. Within the first 10 tickets I saw that villager again and was like, "I didn't kick you out just to bring you back!". Also it's a little sad that they don't remember you but that's just how it is

Yes it's possible to run into villagers you've had previously. I kinda wish they would remember you though just for fun.

Tipper likes to follow me to the islands despite moving out a month ago. I just run from her now.

Pretty (un)lucky to find the same villager that just left on the same day.
Also I have notice usually I can find the villager with the same birthday appear on mystery island if you have a empty plot.
I found Gayle today on my first mystery island tour. I found cherry on May 11th, when Tim Nook ask me to sell the land for new inhabitants.

Yeah, this is normal as everyone has said! After Kevin moved out I ran into him the next day on my first NMT island trip. I felt kind of sad when he didn't recognize me at all.

I temporarily let Biff move out so I could get his real house, and he was on the very first island I went to right after he moved out lol
