How many fossils do you dig up each day in your town?

I usually have 3 or 4

None because I usually just ignore them. I have a bunch of dig spots right next to my train station.

It depends. If I don't dig for 2 weeks, I easily have 20 or more in a day.

Even after not digging for a couple of weeks there are only four fossils, I believe. There may be gyroids, but I think there's only 3 (maybe four) at one time, plus your pitfall seed.

You can dig up a max of 4 fossils, 1 pitfall and if it rained or snowed the previous days 4 gyroids!

None, i stopped digging up fossils a year ago, after I collected them all for the museum It?s good that they stop spawning having 4 fossils buried in the ground.

I have far to many dig spots that I can't be bothered to dig up. I really should though as it makes my town look unclean
