ok so I see all the time that some people plant flowers all over their town so it is filled with them. I kind of think it is a cool idea to make my town colorful. how do I dot hat but quickly? I go to leif's shop at tiy and buy the flower packages and stuff and I water all my flowers everyday. also, about 1/4 of my town is completely covered It took me 6 months after they all died because I lost the game and then I found it again. please help!

What town ordinance do you have? Depending on how important having lots of flowers is to you, try switching to the beautiful town ordinance. It won't be a fast fix, but over time you'll have lota of flowers and they won't die much, if at all, unless you run on them.
Set your ordinance to beautiful town so you won't have to water them. To get flowers faster go to the island and pick a tour like butterfly discovery and pick up all the flowers you can carry while on the tour. They won't disappear from your pocket when the tour ends so you'll be able to put them in the basket to bring home. Repeat the tours as much as you want until your basket is full.

Go to the Island, you only need to do a few tours, fill your pockets and bring everything back to your town. Simple.

Definitely do the beautiful town ordinance since flowers won't die and you don't have to water them if you don't have time. I would also do the flower tour on the island. You can just grab a bunch of regular flowers and place them in the basket and just plant them everywhere in town.
Or if you are going for a certain theme with the flowers, then just water only those ones and not the others, assuming you will do the beautiful ordinance. For example, if you want only pink hybrids, just water those. I did this a lot when I was breeding hybrids. Usually this is pretty fast too, since you often don't realize by the time you get the desired hybrid color that your town is just overrun by flowers.
The quickest way possible though would be to buy them from people at re-tail or ask for them in TBT marketplace. If you see someone who's offering flowers in a giveaway, take up that offer too. It's pretty easy to get flowers.

Beautiful town ordinance, but water them even though you don't have to. Your villagers will also plant flowers while you have the ordinance up. I usually just let them run wild and water them and my town is usually over run pretty quick.
