I'm honestly starting to wonder if this flower is glitched. Now, I know you'll say it's just bad RNG and really, you're probably right but this is starting to drive me insane.
I'm trying to follow the surefire method to get a blue rose that you have probably seen floating around the forums, and I'm stuck on the step where I'm trying to breed whites from "good purples". My plot of purples will literally only spawn other purples. So finally I decided to take the purples aside and test one by one against a yellow to make sure they really are good purples.
Except these flowers just. Won't. Breed.
I've had a purple isolated with a yellow for weeks in game and it just isn't happening. I've been time traveling a fair bit and between rain and the times I watered, I'm sure it's nearing two dozen chances to breed. I even moved it to a different part of the island several in game days ago, because I heard having too many trees in a block can stunt new ones growing, and thought the true might be same for flowers. Stiiill nothing yet.
I guess I'll just keep watering and hope for the best but have you ever had a flower like this that was extremely stubborn about breeding?
