Well I am back and tanner from Florida now... so yeah, it was a great time hiking and stuff, who knew that Florida had a lot of pine forests...

I didn't miss the classic spring break on the beach though entirely, did that the last couple of days.

busy catching up on things....... email full......mostly spam.... other stuff to do everywhere....

New skin. >.>

That's really about it unless you want every single little tiny detail of what's happened, then i'm sure we could find you a couple more things that have gone on.

Oh a new skin....... I thought I was delusional

:P

but if that is about it then... yeah....

Nothing epic goes on here... It's just a happy lil' forum. <3

I'm heading out to Florida sometime in late June, should be some good fun. Glad you had a great time, Sporge.

^_^

the woods were open yesterday weren't they

:P

oh well

I felt I should add to this thread sooo...

Backpacking is fun, especially if you pass many rivers nd lakes in sunny weather while it is warm out. My group only got one day of rain but that was ok. We were also very lucky on the day we camped in an actual campground that this nice older couple gave us lots of food. First night at this campground we got this great grouper (type of fish) and biscuits from them, and the next day beef stew. It tastes so much better when you only had dried stuff for several days(dried fruit, beef jerky, noodles, oatmeal.... that kind of light stuff, and yes we add water to some of those things, but still). It is nice to get out into nature sometimes though. Sadly I have several tests this week I need to study for ;p

No a little while ago.

Welcome back Sporge.

:D

Anyway yea Hiking is fun. Yesterday I was supposed to go hiking but there was a snow storm.

:(
Florida has pine trees? Suprising. I thought it was all palm trees down there

:o
Yeah... and this time of year they bur n the brush down. Fires help keep pine forest pine and many animals and plants use the fires as a part of their year, but humans just keep them controlled now. It was kinda weird walking through stretches with scorched ground... especially in the heat of the noon sun.

Still playing in a river after a day like that is awesome.
