Flare Red 3DS hits Japanese shelves on July 14th

It was gone, but now it?s back - Red Flare coloured 3DS hitting Japan in July .
Many lamented there only being two 3DS colours at launch, Aqua Blue and Cosmos Black. But Nintendo hasn?t taken long to announce a third colour, and it?s one we?re familiar with. Nintendo Japan has announced that on the 14th of July, the red or "Flare Red" coloured Nintendo 3DS will be hitting stores. Just in time for Starfox 64 3D.

I have to say that I like my Aqua Blue Nintendo 3DS and I think that it is awesome.

I think you guys are missing that this is only for Japan. Nintendo tends to release colors only in Japan a LOT.

If they do release it in America I may just buy it and give my black 3DS to my mother or grandmother. They both want one after I shown them stuff like the Virtual Console and OoT 3D

Not saying they won't bring it to North America or Europe eventually. Just saying that it could be a while or never. Look up how many DS Lite colors there are only in Japan.

I wanted this color at launch :/ Oh well, I like my Aqua Blue..

I bought an aqua blue one. My brother bought black and he's like, "It looks a little um, girly." Then I'm like, "Its not girly!" Then I went outside on a nice sunny day, and it was sparkling. -_-

I got a black one because it looks badass and is the obvious choice, and I never ever looked back.
