Flagging a thread

The term your looking for is "subscribe". And yes it can! Just click thread tools (with an arrow facing down) on the top of the thread, there'll be three options - click the lowest option to subscribe.
Once you do that to a thread, click "Settings" at the top of the page and you'll be directed to the list of threads you subscribed ^~^
