Fishing Tourney Help!

Hi! I am currently one day ahead and doing the April Fishing tourney. I needed only four items from the fish set going in to this. . . and I still haven't gotten any of them! No matter how many times I hand in my batch of record-breaking fish (via resetting) all I ever get are the same 6 items over and over and over! I have never had this problem with Chip before. What he gives me usually seems to be random, but today it seems to be limited to these items only! What the hay!

Has anyone else encountered this? Are the items handed out by Chip somehow related to another variable, such as time of day, type of fish, or month? There must be a reason, I refuse to believe this is bad luck. If it was one item I couldn't get, maybe that's bad luck, but 50+ fish and only ever one of six items? There's gotta be a reason behind that.

you can only get a certain six items each time, it will either be the Coral Bed, Crab Clock, Dab Table, Fish Floor, Football Fish Lamp, Squid Chair or Fish Wall, Jellyfish Lamp, Octopus Chair, Olive Flounder Table, Puffer Fish TV, Red Snapper Sofa. Chip doesn't mix them up outside of the combinations.

ooh. . . I wish it would say that somewhere on the wiki or guides. I checked a few and nothing said anything about it! So, is there any way to reset what he's going to give me? For instance, if I time travel back a day, then time travel forward again, would he give me the other items?

I'm fairly sure the items are set to each date so I doubt that going back a day will change anything. You will likely have to go forward to the next one back to the previous one.
