This may be a dumb question, but on the board it says this Sunday there will be fireworks? Is that new? Lol I only remember fireworks being July 4th and New Years.... am I losing my mind?
From the wiki... In New Leaf, the fireworks show takes the same role as in Wild World and City Folk, appearing every Sunday in August, from 7:00PM until Midnight.
Also, I'm pretty sure the 4th of July isn't celebrated in Animal Crossing. I have a North American copy and nothing happened on that day.
Apollo's birthday is on that date, however.
It’s a summer thing! It’s a nice mini event during August, although i guess it can get old real quick since it’s every Sunday. It’s a good time to obtain those firework show items like the lovely phone and miniature car or whatever.
So...do fireworks just replace the fortune cookies for the entire month of August? I am still working on the fortune cookie items (I swear to god if I get another Peach's Parasol or Super Mushroom...) so do I have to take a hiatus until September?
