Hi.

Do you guys like the game? Would you recommend?

I played a bit on my friend's copy and it is tempting. Just don't know if I want to fork over another $40. >___>

okay, i'm going to buy it... eventually...

sidenote: you guys marry anyone yet?

YES. It's a brilliantly thought out game. I'd never played any of the other fire emblem games, nor did I play games in that kind of format. And I absolutely love it. I bought all of the extra download content for it too I became so addicted XD

Oh yeah, and I got married to Chrom XD

I'd recommend it. I've never had any interest in Fire Emblem but I bought it recently after not being able to buy Bravely Default. It's very good if you like strategy RPGs. It's very simple but something about it is strangely addicting and fun. I can't speak much for the plot, as I'm still not completed, but I think it's good so far.

On a side note I made my protagonist too attractive and have a crush on him. Oops.

Hmm, so you don't need previous exposure to the series, good. I was worried about that.
Lol wow, is the extra download content necessary for the fun-ness? ;o

I'm not a stickler for plot line... I tend to get impatient with the text >___>
More so for game play so. Haha, I only played a little but I can see it being addicting in a good way

Attractive characters are always a plus >__>

It's a really good game to get. I bought my copy on a whim after doing some searching about it, and I don't regret it at all. The replay value is pretty high up there. I also just customize the Avatar's looks a lot for the heck of it.

I also got the female Avatar to marry all the male characters, since you could see the dialogue in the extras for every character that's married so far. And I'm a chick, so yeah. I'm still working on the male Avatar's marriage dialogue with all the females.

Not only would I recommend Fire Emblem: Awakening, but I would also advise you to play any of the previous installments too.

YES GET IT. YES. PLEASE DO. i found my copy on amazon for 26 bucks. so you gotta look. unless you like buying games brand new.

I've never played this sort of game before FE:A, but I loved it and found it quite engaging. I had to bulldoze through my first playthrough so I could get through the story. Simple, but engaging. A lot of it is about the character interactions, and I'm a big character person, so I loved that.

I marry Chrom, always, because MU Royal family is my favorite.

I totally think the game is worth it. One of my files has about 150+ hours on it from unlocking as many support conversations as possible, and doing every map (including DLC), I'm on my third or fourth playthrough now, and this one's more about building a solid team.

I would say it's one of the best 3DS games out there in my opinion.

It's the first Fire Emblem game I've ever played, and it made me want to try all of the other games. :)

You don't need the DLC for it to be fun, there's already a ton of content within the game by itself.
I've gone through three files of gameplay, and I married Chrom (a shocker), Say'ri, and Priam.

I don't play it anymore, but that's because I got Animal Crossing and school. :P
Plus I got the game last February.

I've got more time sunk into this game than I do all my other 3DS games combined (click my backloggery and look at the 3DS list, it's a lot). I definitely recommend getting it and some of the DLC, but the DLC isn't really necessary to fully enjoy the game. I married Lissa in my first two playthroughs and then Chrom on my FeMU playthrough.

okay guys, i think we have a consensus~
i'll leave this thread so we can just talk about the game itself ^^

I loved it. I married gaius first... And then many people...

I went for Chrom first. And then I went for Priam before pursuing everyone else. Ahaha. Priam's my favorite. ;w;

As the guy, I went for Tiki. I think she's cute too. :>

I married Chrom, then Gaius, and now I'm working on a Chrom-fathered Inigo. I will marry everyone in this game. Everyone.
