Did you guys see this on the news? I remember learning about the Great Depression in middle school, and the teachers said that there were many suicides committed from high ranking businessmen because of their company's losses or their money loss. I would have never guessed back then that it would start happening again ... very sad.

"Kellermann, a 16-year veteran of the mortgage loan guarantor, was discovered by his wife, who found him in the basement. The two have a young daughter."

Man... he left his wifey and their baby boo. Why would he do that though?

I know! Apparently him and his wife were fine and had a great relationship too.

I guess he just couldn't handle being part of a company that was doing so terrible, and thought he was partly to blame. Or, he was going broke or something.

I saw that, but then my mom changed the channel and they started talking about Sandra Cantu (which is also very sad. I live close to where she lived)

I'm guessing he was going broke, a lot of people are committing suicide in this economy. It's sad. :I

Yeah either way the dude had way too much going for him to commit suicide. =(

It's sad when people do this in tough times, especially since eventually the economy will get better.

Right I'm about 20-30 mins away from there also. It is very sad especially when it is close to home. Just like the guy in Middletown MD who killed his family and then himself the other day.

:(
