Finally Finished SANTA's VILLAGE **criticism please**

Special Thanks to @Loriii and @President Lerina Cute for the collaboration in designing for this.

@KAYYBE for the advice on how to spawn ornaments so I don't have to spend a fortune.

I am currently at eight deer villager. Dasher, Dancer, Pran... nope. Erik, Beau, Fuchsia, Bruce, Diana, Deirdra, Fauna, and Zell. I still need Bam and Lopez. Thank you @Reneezombie for helping me get most of my lineup and @Loriii for Erik.

Here's what I have so far and would appreciate any advice or comments to make it better:

Christmas in July!

Super cute!!! Reminds me of my childhood and seeing everyone's houses lit up with Xmas lights

Really hope they add more Xmas furniture in December, I imagine it would add a lot to your Santa village!

I love it! Especially the ice bear and bar. The turned back star heads is clever and I might steal that idea.

Criticism

Is the red gnome suppose to be Santa? I think he needs to placed on a stool or something to make it taller.
Maybe a Santa custom pattern like a take to photo with Santa on a wooden shop sign?
I think you need more cedar trees or the holly bushes. The trees especially since they get the ornaments during a certain time of year around the able sisters.
Change the bears to go with the presents. I see they have different shirts but aren't there different base bear designs too?

Some other toy suggestions: Giant teddy bear, klackercart, modeling clay, dala horse.

Aaaaaaaah You have a Christmas lights setup!!! I’m SOO excited to set up one myself! I absolutely LOVED the drives my family went through during our trip to Branson (one drive gave free hot chocolate at the end...oooh cafe please before Christmas season )! Maybe keep the cafe in mind if it’s a separate building and incorporate that into the setup.

the bear bar was all @Loriii design.

the gnome were suppose to be elves but i really like the idea of the stool . I will do that.

The log chair was a custom design/pattern from the able sister. I'll prob go with a bear design and place a sign for santa's photo.

I will add more cedar tree but not every cedar trees become ornament trees during the season.

I'll play around with the diff toys since i'm elevating the gnomes.

I would suggest try putting more ceder trees in the background of the airport entrance or the mall santa stage.

One more thing to keep in mind (mostly from the more impressive drive I took) is that you can possibly incorporate the other lights (diner welcome sign, palm tree light, etc) into it to have fun little areas!

I actually came back to look at the pics a second time...that's how you know it's good. Things don't hold my interest for very long.

EDIT: I know these are all opinions, so I don't want to rub anyone the wrong way, but DON'T add in other lights just for the sake of having more lights. Using the diner sign or palm tree lamps would make it look trashy.

The only light that would be passable would be the Nova.

I love it! I seriously can’t wait for winter now lol. I TT but only a day ahead. I love how you placed each house and each item — especially the garden gnome.

I think the flowers for the ice cream parlor provide a nice backdrop and accent. If you are looking to try something else, maybe try using simple panels with a custom design for the back. I honestly like it the way it is but, just throwing an idea out there if you are looking to experiment some more.

I can’t think of anything else but I’ll post again since I’ll definitely want to look again at this thread tomorrow when I have more time.

I would seriously love a tour of your town sometime if you ever open it up for tours. I’d be more than happy to pay too.

Eh I’m just going off of one experience that I had last year. It probably would be a bit difficult to actually pull off but it’s something to keep in mind. Like, don’t put it in with the Christmas lights themselves but have a little themed area off to the side.

I won't add in more lights expect the presents. I think nintendo did a great job in the illuminated present design. too bad I cant place it on a stool to elevate it.

You're always welcome to visit. I will play around with simple panels. I don't like how vertical panel lines up with horizontals.
