Final Mortgage

So, as of now, my house is now fully expanded, is there any point to paying off the final mortgage if your house can't get any bigger? Just to feel accomplished? Just to hear a song that sounds like Nook's having a heart attack? Is there any benefit? Like a statue or a house flag or something?

Pretty sure paying off your last mortgage allows you to do the themed house challenge for the HHA and earn the Gold Exterior parts.

Yep that would be the only reason to finish paying it off. Also, it just feels great to not owe any more money. ^_^;
